“I had a great time bonding with my mom through this project and although hand swelling the 20 masks was tiring and time-consuming, we wanted to do our best to help out. I think the organization for this event was really great and the Red Cross was wonderful in terms of checking up on progress, giving enough materials, and drop off/pickup. It is awesome to see SMHS students take action during these difficult times and my family and I were just really happy to help and express gratitude to health-care workers."
